Equipped with all required government permits, we have an allocated fleet of specialized lowbed trailers to cater to your niche requirements. To ensure maximum protection of your cargo, we also offer escorted loading adhering to all safety measures.

High Value Cargo

Looking to transport valuable possessions? At Usangu Logistics, we export over 20,000 tonnes of copper from the DRC and Zambia on a monthly basis. We understand the importance of safety and provide GIT (Goods in Transit Insurance) covering up to 300k USD worth of per carrying. Your precious consignment is our number one priority and our team ensures transport with the utmost care and precision.

Containerized Cargo Transportation

 The easiest way to transport large freight via containers, we’ve been doing this for over 40 years and have secured the best practice methods to ensure safe delivery of your containers within Africa.

Loose Cargo Transportation

For the occasions when your goods are slightly over a container full. We provide breakdown options via truck which can reduce your cost of deploying multiple containers. Our truck transportation includes a variety of options including insulated bags and drums be it for pipes, boxes or wooden poles.

We also like to go the extra mile and provide double wrapped safety lashes over tarp to secure your cargo and ensure it arrives at its destination intact.

Fuel Transportation

A part of our customers are amongst major branded gasoline distributors. Seeing the niche requirement, Usangu Logistics maintains a fleet of vehicles specifically tasked to gasoline hauling across the continent ensuring sustainable and efficient systems that lead to real bottom-line value for our customers.

Abnormal Wide Load Transportation

Moving abnormally wide loads require special equipment. Over the years we have transported thousands of abnormal loads throughout Africa and have curated a fleet of low and semi-low loaders, plant trailers and extendible all-steer flat trailers steered by a team of highly trained and experienced drivers.

CLEARING & FORWARDING

We have built our clearing and forwarding business from the strength of our transport company with over four decades of experience and a highly rewarding customer approach. This makes it easy to understand our customers’ needs. We then move from this understanding, armed with chemical permits, abnormal cargo permits, and special exemptions for import and export; Usangu Logistics provides a full range of customs Clearing and International freight forwarding services.

Our Import and Exports are routed through Dar-es-salaam port, Walvis Bay and Durban port.

WAREHOUSING

Our largest warehouse is located in Misugusugu Dar-es-salaam and extends to over 10,000 square meters. This world-class facility is a highly secured custom bonded area which offers unlimited terms for storage and warehousing optimized to suit every clients’ requirement.

The best part? 0% import and export duty.

We have additional storage warehouses located in Ndola (ZM) and Kitwe (ZM) and as with all our storage facilities, our on-the-ground team are enabled by technological systems and are health and safety compliant with every precaution taken.

EQUIPMENT HIRING

For when you need a helping hand at a fraction of the cost. For superior lifting performance we have a selection of fork-lifts and cranes ranging from 3 tons capacity to 50 tons that you can hire for long and short term. These multi-purpose machines are designed to withstand heavy workloads and are subjective to routine maintenance.
